RAtM's good. And for the publicity they got, they could have sold out big time like other bands have, but they didn't. They have some good riffs and meanings to their songs.
In Paris, we used to have an anarcho/autonomist punk band called Rage Against the Kebab. I am not sure where they got the name from, but I seem to remember that it was to protest against the price increase of kebab sandwich (a worthy cause). The cover of their demo had the bloody heads of Lenin, Mao and Marx on a kebab stick. The music is pretty shit though to be honest. As for RATM, I guess I'd rather have kids into them rather than into Linkin Park or System of a Down. I don't like the music at all but some decent lyrics here and there and I always thought the anger was genuine.
