Preserving the memory of the Melbourne S-11 Protests in 2000

    Unfortunately I was only in year 14 when these protests were on and I could not get out of school to get there unlike some other seniors from my high school.

    It was an anti-globilization protest that was targeting the WEF (World Economic Forum) that was meeting outside the Crown Casino in my home town of Melbourne.

    The first clip here is actually a mock Victoria Police recruitment video with footage of the arsehole cops who were nothing short of fucked up.

    The second clip/link is of a 42minute doco called "S-11: This is What Democracy Look Like" which was made in 2000 following the protests.
