New to anarchy!

Hey, I am a teen who is getting into the anarchy movement and I'm trying to learn more about it. I also have a question about it. If I have anything wrong please correct me I am just trying to learn more about the movement. Also if you know any resources please send them my way.
Anyways, I've learned that anarchy is the idea of people coming together and working for the interest of the people rather than having an authoritative government. This sounds very interesting but it makes me wonder, how do we counter the argument that people will commit crimes anyways and act in their own self-interest? How do we propose to solve the problem of bad actions? I was thinking about it in class today and how will we make sure people are really acting in the interest of the people.
I apologize if this is confusing at all, feel free to ask me to clarify if it is.
