    It would be really, really great if we could edit our posts. In case anybody makes a typo or something, they could fix it, instead of having it preserved for posterity. This would be much appreciated.

    You are supposed to be able to, but only for a limited time (i.e. 1-2 hours after the time the message was posted you can't edit your message anymore)

    But maybe there is a bug. Can you try to edit your post?

    Ah, I did notice the sooner I did it the more it seemed to work. I'm just not used to that. The forum I usually post on has a much longer window, actually, I think you can always edit until the website people archive the old threads.
    Regardless, it had never happened to me before. i also noticed the html code seems very fussy. Sometimes I honestly can't figure out why it's wrong, all the brackets are there, etc.
