So I'm currently interested in learning the history of Africa, i really wanna know all about it, the ancient empires, slavery, colonization, apartheid, and the present etc.

But it's kind of a complex subject to me, because I feel like it's always a ethnographer usually European telling the stories themselves, or some columbus character interpreting Africa, which is not what I want.

I'm looking for a credible book, site, or articles that give perspective from Africans themselves and covers everything. It doesn't have to be compltely african perspective but does anyone know some good books or solid sources where I can start my studying?

Anything helps, even some references on to what I should look up and stuff.
