simplistic life stylers talk (sorry for my bad language, i speak french) - if the "system" would be pathological, we wouldn't live to suffer from capitalism, the bosses are egoistic and ignorant, but they have aims and goals to go for, and the adaptivity of capitalism shows clearly how much narrow minded intelligence is working in the bad business - at least in the developed countries, so how much about a "mega machine" effective only in a small part of the known world? do less developed areas do better than "us"? maybe the insurrection should take a turn working in development aid first, then think about the real life and shut up in shame about the childishness of their "militance"
of course i agree that "things conditioned for money/profit" are the problem, better their abuse for money and profit alone - thats what is to expect in capitalism - but technological progress doesn't maximizes capitalism - if you want, read marx' writings about capital accumulation and the reasons for economical crisis coming out of the conflicting aspects of the money machine, you just need to apply the conflict between production and drop in sales on whats going on outside our beloved leftwing-bubble - the market is limited, it's predictable since decades and still we have nothing to set against it, just and only petty ranting in the media. anarchism isn't only freedom from repression, we will have to shape a world and we will fail badly if we keep on dreaming of the wilds, occupy the meditation mat and change ourselfs by diet theories.

more common sense and less academical:
when was the last important survival-technique invented? something like the breakthrough we gained using antibiotica - or in the opposite: the problems this doctor from middle america had getting capitalists/the industy's support for the development of an effective malaria cure - bad business, only the poor in the third world would have benefitted from it, too bad that they can't afford it...
how could we become alienated while almost nobody is real-life in touch with biotechnology, robotics, nanotechnology - this primo-anti-civ-ranting is pure sci-fi hysteria just ignoring the point that technology is neutral and only it's use is destructive or not, in capitalism it has the tendency to work only for private interest and ignoring the destructive consequences - but capitalism isn't a natural law...
biotechnology is a perfect example for this - how will we find a cure for cancer and degenerative illnesses without biotech- and gene-science, once we are free from the profit crawing market, preventing real progress because the money earned with selling useless therapies and medics?

and this fucking obsession with the banking system is already getting a more than annoying headache, funny meme stirred up by collaborating bankrotteurs - just think about who was feeding "the rich" with buying the american dream and every damned gimmnik the internet promotes on partial payment? and by the way, this catchy little something about the "system of greed isn't really new" - just google for "gottfried feder" on wikipedia and take a deep breath...

what a joke - "informal anarchist federation" ha ha, still not getting the difference between "anarchy" and "anarchism"?
and abusing the reputation of the FAI - that's something i take personally...

 

firstoff, i didn't meant to blame you for supporting the statements concerning the content - and i left luciano tortuga completely out - my turn to tell you the truth:
i still work on his and the conspiracy of cells of fire's case too - europe has quite a history of militant undergrounds failing badly because of the background/circumstances around here - and i don't have enough knowledge about chile's status quo to have something like an opinion. i still have to deal with the sectarian, elitist and off-movement aspects of "underground" and "conspiracy", not only because of the old political-organisation-before-conspiration wisdom proved right again and again in history, do i have to mention that we still lack the mass movement as the base for a justified and conscious escalation of the struggle?
maybe i should have mentioned tortuga too and we would have agreed about the solidarity for political prisoners, maybe i should translate a reasonable article about him and the cells and post it - but the "FAI" statement needed some massive critique - not only because from an anarchist view point it's hardly written by "comrades" and out of personal experience and evaluating the content i have strong doubts that it would be possible to outreach to them - there isn't much of a common ground of understanding.

how does this smells like? somehow pissed and bored teens looking for kind of an identity while skipping the very basics of day-to-day common sense, not to mention the least detail or explanation of the issue - just "bored to watch" - reads: we don't do much and just had an idea and some copper wire too?
how much do they have in common with tortuga - or me, a militant anarcho-communist engaged in the struggle to change "society" instead of loosing time with wallowing in petty apocalyptic illusions as an excuse for apathy and disability to deal with "society"? put the same text on a fascist website, just change a few names... boom!
so how serious is the "indonesian FAI", just names dropping and asking for attention on the internets?
i don't care about the public reception of anarchists or anarchism in the media and the bad rep we got everywhere - but what really troubles me is the mass of weirdness and desperation coming up and calling itself "anarchism" - or just jumping the train and abusing it to promote more or less reactionary delusions and idle self projections, watering down the philosphy, distracting people who might really search for answers or solutions - anarchists know better and did so all the time - but how many get lost these days in the growing mess of stupid slogans and false-flag manipulative persuasion attempts?

i guess i don't have to remember you about the reasons the spanish FAI was meant for - to keep the CNT and the spanish anarchist movement from corrupting/degenerating - and many called them dogmaticelitistholierthanyouextremists- but as an anarchist i know this and i wouldn't call a personal project/group founding the very same name the historical FAI had, at least not as long as i won't be a member of the spanish FAI - just realize the bad joke we witness right now...
and just compare the copper wire action with the organized mass sabotage of the recent castor transports -
talk about efficency and the rotten and sick society struggling out at least of the nuclear mess...
including 450 antifa- and anarchist activists still loving the people and their lands out in the visible open and giving quite an example to watch - and follow?
