I'm an autonomist and an anarcho-syndicalist at heart. Occasionally vote for the lulz.

    Short answer: Anarchist.

    Long answer: ANNNNAAAAARRRRCHHHISSSTTT.

I kid, I kid. I shall now elaborate:

Basically, instead of having a central government within a country, there should be small communities around the size of small towns. The communities would preferably run as pure democracies. Every decision is voted on and decided by the community as a whole. The only thing that should be centralized is trade and transport (obviously, as an anarchist, I don't believe in property borders so the communities could be fluid)

Yes, I know it would never work out quite that well and I am fully aware that anarchy would probably be a bit shit in practise, but at least you won't be able to blame the government for it being shit.

"First order of business at this city council meeting, LET'S HANG US SOME DAMN PUNK ROCKERS! All in favor? Against? Sorry kid, we all vote against you. GET HIM!

Second order of business, Jews, Gays, Niggers, et cetera. What methodology would this community choose to exterminate them by?"

Well, I did say it would probably be a bit shit. Fortunately, because the communities would be so small, there would be plenty of opportunities for anyone to live outside of said communities. There is always the chance of people preferring fascistic rule, but that's always going to be the case, regardless of the system or lack thereof. Even with no government, there will be just as many assholes.

I prefer checks and balances, when they are allowed to work.

“Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?”

“A Republic, if you can keep it.”

ATTRIBUTION: The response is attributed to Benjamin Franklin—at the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, when queried as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberation—in the notes of Dr. James McHenry, one of Maryland’s delegates to the Convention.

I really don't like to aline myself to any really group or ideology. Here's kind of nerd analogy. It's like the alinement system in D&D how when ever a person had a character who tried to follow their alinement to a tee, you just end up with the most ass backwards person imaginable. It's also because I don't think generic terms can really tell about a person. A person can say they are conservative, liberal, socialist and whatnot but I don't feel any of those say shit about people. But I guess my attitude right now is more focused on self reflection and self improvement, I don't think you can change the world until you change yourself.

What a nonsense. Why would ANYONE make that the first order of business? Why would the majority of the community agree? Such a community would very quickly fall apart and reformulate into a more effective one. I think Freakboi's got the essence near enough right, the checks and balances that you feel are necessary would be the individuals of the community itself.

You've apparently never been to a small American town. :lmao:

Rent Star Wars, the original sometime, and see how well things go when "the last remnants of the old republic have been swept away...the provisional governors will have direct control."

Touche. The first stage for anarchism to work is the improvement of individuals. We still have a looooooooooooong way to go. :(

    Still, stay true. \m/

Why bat? That is a bit speciesist. Can't bats be bats without having another species attached to it? I find this an outrage, me and my group BLF (Bat Liberation Front) will be on this case of mistreated like a bat out of hell. We will free the bats from this name coupling like the Spider Liberation Front did for the spiders in the spider vs spiderman case. We will be seeing you in court Mr Butcher, if that is your real name.

it is also still sexist. Think of the connotations attached to 'bat'; 'to have a bat' for example.
Thus, we can see the double phallic references in the six letters of 'batman'.
    Smash Patriarchy, smash Batman!
