* 'Gaslighting'
* "Personality disorder"

I would say religion goes with divide and conquer. It's diving people into two sides. Bad side and good side then enforces it's heteronormative-patriarchal-authoritive ideas. Religion will not disappear as long as there is a demand for authority and control. Like how protestan christianity has effected communism in europe, especially it becoming the morally good alternative after a while, or how orthodox christianity has influenced anarchism. I would say any religion or beliefs that cuts a sharp divide between good and evil, morally correct and morally incorrect should be dismantled.

 

all i'm trying to say is religion (if it's ONE person) is crazy.

seems to me like this ONE person (if religion is ONE person) - definitely has a "cluster B" personality disorder (such as narcissistic personality disorder & is Gaslighting)

i DON'T know if it's true or NOT but heard something about really this whole Zen & Buddist thing is about - The - people committing suicide are actually something like - The - saints in the religion. seriously.. they do stuff to mummify themselves while they are still alive & then they die (by suicide faster - or something).. seriously... believe it was that religion - NOT some other failed cult. could be true? who cares - there's so many of them to keep track of

just being an atheist, i really DON'T want to talk about religion either way... my people have history too. AND WHEN I SAY "MY PEOPLE" I MEAN "MY CLAN"

Why did these monks in Japan choose to mummify themselves?

Sokushinbutsu (即身仏) are a type of Buddhist mummy. In Japan the term refers to the practice of Buddhist monks observing asceticism to the point of death and entering mummification while alive.[1][2] Although mummified monks are seen in a number of Buddhist countries, especially in South Asia where monks are mummified after dying of natural causes, it is only in Japan that monks are believed to have induced their own death by starvation.

 

Religion serves as a tool for control. Dividing people and enforcing authority. It won't disappear until we dismantle all beliefs supporting this system.

And yup, that gaslighting and personality disorder stuff? Total abusers. Stay away from that shit. Keep fighting the good fight against the system.
