    Originally called Riot Squad, they were active in the 80s, the same time as the UK punk band Riot Squad, after legal wrangles over the name, the band changed it to Riot Squad SA.

    Release Date : 1981

    Record comes in a large poster-size picture sleeve, with lyrics and news clippings printed on both sides. Also includes a "Support War Resisters Against Apartheid!" info sheet. Track B2 is titled "2nd Hand Clothes" on the label. 300 copies pressed. Copyright Riot Squad 1981.

    Riot Squad SA Biography

    Punk band from Cape Town, South Africa, active in the early 80s, at the same time as the UK punk band of the same name. The band later changed the name to "Riot Squad SA" to avoid possible confusion. The UK pressing of "Total Onslaught" was released with that addition, as was the single "Polarisation Time".
