    Hey there,

I discovered this forum whilst testing out more privacy-respecting search engines - I've never been a big NOFX person, but my partner was listening to anarch camp and it prompted me to find out a litle more about them.

I'm pretty sure I've been an anarchist for quite a while, but I only recently started to actively look into it as a philosophy. Everyone I tell about this is basically like 'No shit, I;ve known youwere for years' lol.

When I'm not working I front a London based band called Hearse Pileup. We're a punk-adjacent three piece; loud, noisy and angry. I'm trying to get our first album ready to self release; it's been a very long journey - perhaps 8 years of work all up. I'm not sure I would describe us an 'anarchist'. My aim for our lyrics and music is to prompt a question for the listener to absorb and think about, rather than provide an answer.

If you want to listen to our back catalogue, it's available on bandcamp as a pay-what-you-want, no minimum spend and CC BY-SA licensed.

I was thinking of introducing us on the bands section; but I wanted to test the waters here first.

Nice to meet you all :)

Welcome to APN, NoFx are by no means anarcho by the way, and you can always upload your band to the other than anarcho section, please take a moment to read our charter in the 'Who are we?' section underneath...cheers.

Hah yeah; I hadn't really thought they were - but it was a search result to discussing them here that introduced me to the forum so thought I'd check it out.

I'll have a read of the charter, take a look at the options for uploading music, and do my best to make an informed decision.

Really like the idea of this place btw. Live music is dying in London and I've been thinking a lot about how you create community; these forums look like fertile ground!
