    Straight Edge Hardcore Punk band from Lahti, Finland formed in 1988

    straight edge hardcore punk band active from 1988 to 1993 in Lahti (Finland). They released several ep's which later were made as a CD compilation entitled "Controversial History 1988-1993". Despite its sound was very similar to british punk band Discharge and other scandinavian legends, SAIRAAT MIELET had a harsh straight edge attitude not always correct or with respect to other people. Their outright disdain for their country's addiction to alcohol led them to confront this national problem with some of the most hardline straight edge hardcore ever made.
