International Open Call to Organize сoncerts ”Punks Against Putinism” – blackploshad.org
We are calling for the organization of a series of concerts in various cities and countries under the common name ‘Punks Against Putinism.’

Our goal is to demonstrate our unity in the fight against imperialism, dictatorship, war and to express solidarity with our Ukrainian comrades.
When Putinism threatens freedom worldwide, we want to remind people that music and art can be powerful tools for changing public opinion and supporting the struggle for justice and freedom!
The organization of concerts is completely decentralized and independent. How to raise funds, what the format will be, and the date are decisions left to each individual. The only thing we ask is to use the common name and aim for a similar time frame (from November to January, depending on circumstances).
The first concert with this name took place in spring 2023 in Paris. In November 2023 was one concert in Latvia and will be in Slovakia. In December in Barcelona, Tallin. Also wiil be in Warsaw, Tbilisi

Now we call for continuing similar solidarity events worldwide. There are already agreements for concerts in 5 European capitals, and we hope the number will grow.
We ask organizers to reach out to us for support and information.

Barcelona: Punks against Putinism

At the concert there was an exhibition on the theme of solidarity with Ukraine. Posters of all concerts from the series “Punks against Putinism”, information about the torture of anti-fascists in Russia from the “Tyumen case”, the arrested Yakut punk Aikhal from Crispy Newspaper ,
information about Ukrainian punks and antifa, and their anti-authoritarian resistance,
covers of the collection “ Punks against war”, etc.

On the same day, the “Punks against Putinism” concert was held in Tallinn at the DIY social center Ülase12, and a day earlier, on 12/15, a similar gig was organized in Berlin at the Köpi squat.

The next concerts will take place in Bratislava, Tbilisi, Warsaw and Lyon. Join the initiative in your city
