    Äni(x)Väx was a West-German Hardcore-Punk band from Münster/North Rhine Westphalia, active between 1984-1988.

    Most people mispronounced their name. The proper pronounciation is Animal Vax. The name was a code for animal vaccination. The X as in 1x1 (ein mal eins).
