I have a very odd way of waking up. I spring directly out of bed just as concious as I was when I went to sleep as though I have something important to wake up for

dude you have to TRY and sound like you just woke up? XD I'm not much of a social being until I've finished my first cig of the day... and that takes up to 15 mins

When ever someone wakes me up by calling me I try and make it as obvious as possible that they woke me up without actually saying by doing things like clearing my throat into the phone yawning and talking in a low moan.

why do people even bother asking if you were awake or not, either way they have gotten your attention, as you are answering thier call, and it's not like they will magically put u back to sleep if they did wake you...

how is it that when i get woken up by the phone i always get up and answer, and deny that i was not awake already?
