    Hey guys, so I am working on a zine that is about art and revolution and how art can be used to push a movement. I need some statements or opinions from creatives. I am putting it together myself. Anything helps.
    Here is a concept bit for you all.

    Art represents the soul of any movement. You get a sort of "pulse" for how the movement is feeling, reacting, what their specific grievances are, through it's art. This can change, like how punk went from "sex and drugs" to political statement, then softened up a bit during easier times, and became more self-reflective. The artistic endeavors of a revolutionary push will mostly tend towards propaganda, but even then, the details can tell you about it's origins, who's backing it, and the sort of people they're trying to convert, since the art would be geared towards them.

    The art of a movement is a direct reflection of the movement's itself, if that mirror happened to be one of those wacky carnival mirrors that makes you look super buff. It's an idealized version of what the movement hopes to be, and it's hoping that you'll help it along.
