My bands Order-66 (yes, a star wars quote) we play a combination of ska, punk, hardcore and hip-hop. we've played a fair few shows, and featured in a local punk zine twice. the scene here is a bit messed up at the moment, filled with bands and people who have no respect for each other, but its getting better. i put our ep up in the music d/l section.

dude how do you get the shit you've recorded by yoursellf i have just started a one man project mysellf and just wanted to figure out how to get a nice and full sound so if you could tell me your secret i would be very happy

 

well.. i have a multi-track recorder so it's pretty easy.
ya can record everything on separate tracks and mix all tracks nicely together in the end.
it's pretty much the same like in a studio only there's no guy to push on record for ya
and no guy to mix the track together for ya. Ya have to DIY .

I play guitar in a hardcore punk band called S.P.T (Sniffing Paint Thinner)

I also recently started a ska punk band, we are going to have our first practice very soon.

 

I play in a post-punk band. We do have lyrics about society, but often from a more introspective view. Members are anarchist's though, and that shines through in our lyrics.

We're recording our first demo at the moment, hopefully it will be ready soon
