    I support Wikileaks.
I think these things should see the light of the day. All this crap with them "putting people in danger" and "destroying order" is bullshit - There system puts people in dangers, it's their deeds!

And yes, Wikileaks may have political interest's, but not any that i've seen interfere with the general reliability of the documents.

Their "political interests" usually border on things like anarchy or night watchman states, neither of which should scare the populace, but does because FOX and MSNBC tell the people to be scared of it. You know because people aren't really "responsible" enough to keep from killing each other or stealing.

Yup anonymous hackers have been striking many websites in answer to wikileaks repression : banks, paypal, mastercard, visa, amazon, and many other websites have been hacked by anonymous.

I used to support wikileaks, but now they just lost my support. yesterday the press revealed that Wikileaks made a secret contract with israel. Israel gave them money and in exchange wikileaks will not publish any documents compromising israel. this explain why there wasnt any document on israel in the thousands of secret files released recently by wikileaks. This arrangement between israel and wikileaks was recorded on video.
A lot of members of wikileaks team left and they are now founding their own website : OpenLeaks

    Source here:
    http://www.lepost.fr/article/2010/12/12 ... srael.html

Search google for an english article.

If wikileaks are going to stay silent regarding informations on israel illegal terrorism against palestine and everything they have done, just to have money in return, i say fuck wikileaks.

US senator thinks DDoS attacks against Amazon, Visa, and Master Card are "Cybercrimes". Of course, I'm sure she feels the same about the attacks on Wikileaks, right? Now, she and other dip-shits like her want to past lesislation that would regulate and censor internet users by using a "carrot-and-stick" approach which means bribing countries with aid money. Can't protest on the streets; can't protest on the internet. What the fuck is having free speech good for if the government tries to shut you down at every fuckin' turn.

lol its funny because even the music industry use DDoS attacks to defend their interest, and they are not alone...

Anyway, this isnt very surprising as i have seen politicians say that DDoS attacks are cyber-terrorism. What a fucking joke.

Copyright defenders use illegal DDoS attacks against file sharing websites

A US senator want to allow US government to take down any domain name since "they created internet".
    viewtopic.php?f=36&t=5031

They also want to let the president have a "red button" to shut down the entire internet in case of a "crisis"

I remember seeing a poster of what was suppost to be a Nazi soilder that had a photoshopped Republican Party mascot where the swastika symbol would be and it read, "It's not fascism when we do it!". I guess they need to add "It's not terrorism when we do it!" too.

    So true.

Even if Wikileaks really did take bribe money (which would definitely limit my support), it's still a symbol of resistance and freedom of speech that we need to support. At least at this current point.

I can't find an english article on the topic, and so far, i've found multiple leaks from Wikileaks about Israel (or, especially about Israel trying to get Egypt to take over control in Gaza).

Are you sure your article aren't propaganda? I understand very little french, but this article looks like it's from a major newspaper which may very well be interested in spreading lies about wikileaks, or a propaganda story from the state.

    EDIT:
A friend of mine found the article - Yet i must say, i don't find it particularly reliable. They quote "Syria Truth" and others.

    http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2010/1 ... 665978.php

The criticism of former Wikileaks spokespersons are probably true enough, it isn't first time i hear about that, but the so called agreement i have a hard time believing based on just this

No, it's a serious article from a serious source and their sources are quoted at the bottom of the article

    http://www.techeye.net/internet/did-wik ... ith-israel

You're right they released infos on israel BEFORE but the deal between wikileaks and israel is recent, and in their latest releases nothing concerned israel. Last months, hundreds of thousands of secret documents were revealed by wikileaks. The documents concerned a lot of governments all over the world... but nothing about israel

The article them selfs refer to "reports are coming in" and questions wether or not this deal has been made. So far all there is is statements from former members of the wikileaks team.

Though, i admit - It's VERY strange that there is no mentioning of Israel in the last major leak yes.

Your article mention it - some things just doesn't add up.

That Assange could be preparing a major leak about Israel sounds plausible though i think

If the other former members of wikileaks want to leave the team and make their own website to "achieve the initial goal of wikileaks" (to quote them) - there is a reason.

The french article quote multiple sources

It also talk about a very weird thing - on all documents published on USA there is a big "empty hole" without any information on the period during juily 2006 to september 2006. This was during the war against libal.... Weird coincidence. Is it really possible that during 3 months the USA officials talked about middle-east issues without any interest, without talking about the war of israel against liban only one single time ??? Obviously it was censored.

Article also say that Assange said good things about Israel president, he even said he was an example of transparency !!! what a joke!!
Israel president made declarations and said that "israel took preventive measures to assure that there will be no secret documents leaked" What are those measures ? A deal with wikileaks ?

    etc...

Thank you dearly for the link, fucking about time people start realizing that Anarchism is a political theory, not a bunch of mindless kids calling for chaos and disorder. Even if this article portrays Anarchism in a hippy-extremist kind of way, the comments are what made my day.

There's a substantial amount of your average person in the west who thinks that wikileaks are doing a good service.

Then there are people who are calling for Assange to be executed. On that note, it has been mentioned that wikileaks would release files on a mass scale should anything happen to the members or to the group itself.

As for the Israel thing, Assange stated that they would not release documents that were likely to be used to cause harm to populations, that could be a reason. I highly doubt wikileaks would make any sort of deal. What would they have to gain, especially when wikileaks is releasing such negative information about the US. Not to be cynical, but maybe the other members of wikileaks don't care too much about population death when idealism is at stake.
