    Big song which reminds me my youth. When he played in the city of Limeil-Brévannes, it's our bass player's daddy who went to pick him at the airport and bring him to the place where he had to sleep near the concert.

    A very nice guy and a good singer unfortunately died two years ago. The medias didn't speak about it. Was born in Guinea in a mandingue village but descendents from Mali, he's one of the only guy who got an international career with Malinké language.

    The Mandingues (don't know the word in English, sorry) were a people well known for music and sorcery in Western Africa.

    He combinated tradition and moderne music, because of that, he was surnamed "the electric griot", griots are poets and musicians in Western Africa who are deposits of the oral culture and traditions (like Troubadours in Southern France), they have the reputation to communicate with the ancient spirits.

    By the way, they make'em live in their songs.

    Amazing how the language has evolved over time. Old English seems to have had more in common with Swedish or Danish than modern English. It's clear to see its Germanic roots.
