Maybe, one of my favourite cocktails does have rum in it lol. But got a non-piratey song on one of my playlists today.

 

You see, the pieces are all falling into place, lol. Man, I've gotta critique that fight scene in the arena real quick. I don't know how that "champion" made it that far up his "career ladder" only to get killed by a sling shot to the head. A) why wasn't he wearing a helmet? And B) He could've probably protected his head with his big-ass axe. I just couldn't help myself. I hope you don't take offense.
Maybe if he'd kicked up some dust beforehand to obscure his intent it might've been a bit more believable.

I think it was either a David and Goliath reference or just some weird cinematography lol. Got something more mellow today, though.

 

Yeah, I'm sure it wasn't the official music video to the song. Or was that song in the movie (rolling credits or whatever)? I have no idea. I just enjoy fault finding in movies, especially big budget movies. It kinda annoys me how they think we're all stupid and we'll just accept anything as long as there's big explosions and shit, lol.
That song reminds me of Blind Guardian a bit, some of their more ballad-y songs.

I used to love this band in my early punk days. They've always had a slight metal tinge but became more and more metal oriented as time went on but still enjoyable.

I actually found some old records in the back of my closet today; I have this album which has that crazy backwards recording at the end, but my bargain-brand record player won't let me do it well.

Believe it or not, I downloaded this album last night. Hadn't heard it before but listening to it now. It's a good album! The only song I'd heard from them previously was 'Richard hung himself' which featured in the movie Suburbia, in a live concert scene.
