Picked up what I think is the latest Burnt Cross CD - Mankind's Obituary. It's typically excellent. Straight forward anarcho-punk but it's just executed brilliantly with often-quality lyrics. Wicked.

 

That Mitchell and Webb Sound; their sketch about news phone-in shows.

 

Cress "Monuments" and Bad Influence "New age witch hunt". Two excellent records that I have loved for years. I wish there were more bands like these...

What I've been listening to a lot lately is the new Propagandhi album, it's incredible. This might actually be their least political album (or at least blunt political lyrics, compared to their "Less Talk, More Rock" album). But the lyrics are still great, and the music (the guitar work, especially) is amazing.
