Here is English translated review (of German Plastic Bomb)....

    VIVISEKTIO - Naamiaiset CDr

"Enter Äkäslompolo into an internet search-engine. This is where VIVISEKTIO hail from. Äkäslompolo is located about 130 kilometers north of the polar circle in Finland. Thus they must probably be one of the northernmost punkbands in the world!! If you live so far north, where the sun don't shine for half a year, what are you gonna do there? Founding a band, of course. The band began in 1983, called it quits in 1986 and only played 8 gigs. They were always anarchopunks. In 2008 two original members re-formed the band. The CD contains 7 songs recorded in 2008 and 7 livetracks recorded in 2011. Finland is known for their fast, harsh and raw hardcore-bands. VIVISEKTIO are definitely a part of that. It seems as if time stood still. This is raw, wild hardcore-punk straight out of the 80's. I think it's really great and likeable that at the other end of the world there's an old punk-band getting back together. And that they know the PLASTIC BOMB and send me their CD. By the way, get yourself their really awesome LP released on HÖHNIE RECORDS, released after their re-union. It contains tracks from the good old days that have never been recorded before. " (Micha, PLASTIC BOMB).
