    24 hour Picket on NOW!

(TCFUA) Textile Clothing & Footware Union of Australia workers need your support.

    32-46 Chiffley Drive, Preston.

No pay rise in 3-4 years, migrant workers being paid under the award wage and management are using threats and cameras.

26 Workers currently out on strike...GET THERE IF YOU CAN!

The workers and their supporters seem to be kicking some arse here...

The other day saw enough people show up in support that they didn't even bother to try and call for a scab truck. They just need to hold out another 2-3 days and make sure the scab-trucks don't get through and the company will run out of stock and lose millions because Toyota would probably cancel their contract with them, which would mean the new fight would be for the redundancies. I'm not sure if the boss is that much of a nut-job though because she owns about 51% of the company, so that's her personal fortune at stake.

The forklifts in the factory are apparently running dangerously low on gas and there has been no deliveries.

The Transport Workers' Union (Truckies) have drawn up a shitlist with the photos of scab-drivers and their rego-plates to be distributed on the docks in Melbourne to try and make sure they don't get any cargo loaded onto them.

There has been great support from members of other unions, notably the CFMEU, MUA, RTBU, CEPU, TWU...etc

Not to mention that there have been constant toots, honks and beeps from passing cars and trucks in support.

If you are in the area, of the picket come down, have a cup of tea, drop a donation in the tin and have a sausage or something off the BBQ. Bring some food if you can or some more teabags and biscuits because the overnight shift of striking workers and supporters need em' lol.

The picket has been dubbed "Camp Auto" considering that they have a portable gazebo, caravan and BBQ down there and a nice warm fire in a barrel. There had been a solar panel brought down so that they could watch the World Cup on a small TV at night.
