Total Chaos have a Total Reputation among punks in California and around the world for a reason, Rob might have been a sweetheart and a prince when you met him, but over the years here he's been a real douchebag to many many people that I and others respect and that's a real problem not a made up one, and it doesn't matter how much you try to convince people otherwise, their history with good people and the way they act towards them will follow them no matter what. As for you talking a grip of shit about American punks and then backpedaling that's pretty funny. I appreciate you trying to defend someone whom you met and liked and respected but you don't know the whole picture so lets just leave it at that.

 

hey bro, i grew up in riverside, Ca in the late 80's early 90's and I remember Total Chaos and Resist and Exist putting together lots DIY concerts all over OC/Pomona valley. they ran in similar circles of friends as me,They were always cool and did a lot for the scene back then. I lost contact with both bands by Mid 90's because of getting married and shit. but a few years ago I went to see Total Chaos/Conflict here in LA, CA 2005 (i think) and I talked to the band after the show and they remembered me and took me back to meet Conflict, fucking cool shit, and I guess TC booked Conflicts whole tour. first tour in years for them. Colin seemed real proud of TC. Not sure what all this other shit your talking is about, But i have to say TC is cool. cheers Big jeff

Shit I almost forgot! I remember Dan of Profane resistance telling me that Total Chaos and Aus rotten could be the bands to break Anarchic Punk and make it a real threat! that was back in 1994/1995 when TC was on Epitaph records and were at the time the biggest street punk bands in the USA, As for Aus rotten (don't know what label they were on) but that was a long time ago, but i still think there down.

Reading all these comments i just remembered Total Chaos put out ring-tones and played them on JImmy Kimmel Live (You-Tube it) it was pretty funny to watch, they would open the curtains of the stage area they would play 5-10 seconds of a song, and shut it again, and do it again for the next "ring tone". Just saying, it was pretty funny.

Yes, try "shitty punk music" hahaha. I don't know, it was about 3 years ago maybe? All i remember is i was trying to fall asleep and i was watching Conan then Jimmy Kimmel went on and after that when he announced the guest he said "And we also have our Punk Rock Guests Total Chaos performing their latest Ring Tones" and then they did later on....i thought i heard wrong at first, but nope it was %100 them.

 

Total Chaos's music just plain sucks,
I haven't heard their old stuff that KAAOS seems to like,
but It just can't redeem the awful crap they've been putting out.

the uk Total chaos never toured or did anything other then put out 2 singles in 1982 then broke up in 1983- not talking about them. I did see then jimmy kimble show to and it was a joke thing - Total chaos never put out ring tones - Jimmy just needed a local band to play the part and asked tC, they posted it on the site 3 years ago. it was more or less something fun to do
