    This is a video I came across some time ago - essentially a condensed version of Shock Doctrine - that explains the basics of 'disaster capitalism' or corporatism.

    I disagree, however, with the narrator's idea that 'the failure is not capitalism'. He poses that it's only this specific form - 'viral', or 'mutant', he calls it - that is the failure. I believe that this 'predatory' form of capitalism is the only form; It is the logical conclusion that follows, given capitalism's existence in any measure.
