    Hello comrades,

With the recent election happening in the US and the huge surge of right-wing politicians rising to power in Europe, I feel that there is a huge void of discussion here on this site about direct action and dealing with the fascist rise of power throughout the world. I understand that this site is also about anarcho-punk music, but there is a time for sitting back and talking about music and a time for talking about rising up and taking action in the world around us. I'd like to start the discussion of ways for everyone to implement direct action in their local areas and doing everything we can to fight the rise of neo-nazis and right wing radicals.

My favorite resource as of late is subMedia.tv, they are very effective at talking reality. They have recently talked about how to deal with the rise of white supremacy as a member of white society, so any fellow white comrades out there should take a bit of time to go watch this video and hear what they have to say about our role as white anarchists. Please comrades, we have to brig the fight to the enemy's front yard and fight them directly!

so true, unfortunately i believe that even among self proclaimed anarchists there is a lack of interest in the world outside of their social circles and personal interests, just like the majority of society. because of the apathy (which i can fall victim to but try not to) and lack of interests in politics and social issues i feel the only people that care enough to use their voice and power for change are the ones supporting the system and taking away human rights. as far as no discussions on this site that is a good question. i unfortunately feel this is because more "punks" or anarchists are more interested in the sound of the music and the look of the scene than what the artist is saying or what the message is. i find it hard to find people who listen and look into lyrical content. thanks for the heads up on that news site ill look into it.

Of course, I came to this site hoping for a hub of political debate and action, but I've been a little disappointed by it all. Granted, the traffic for this site is so so so small compared to other forums, but I don't feel like a small meeting place calls for any less discussion. I know the admins on this site are strong proponents of action, but I feel like there is such a void of action here.
I hope this thread can gain some traction though, the biggest step forward is starting the discussion in the void. Any news from where you are in the world dumbum?

I agree Lardy. The world is changing and there is no better time for anarchists to come out of the woodworks and show what it means to be an actual anarchist. There is a huge issue with "branding"-for lack of a better word-when it comes to anarchism. Most people these days associate anarchism with bombs and death, not unity and cooperation. Its a mess and I have been mulling over all the ways that we can change how people view us.
I'm not saying we should have some grand branding change like the fascists have with the "Alt-Right". I'm hoping we can educate people on while we keep our name and honesty without lying to people like "no we aren't anarchists! We're neo-libertarian" or some bull shit like that. Any thoughts on the matter? Any ideas for spreading education on how our movement has helped the world? Similar to how the Spanish Revolution happened, starting with education then moving to action.

Recently I had a union agitator and democratic operative contact me out of the blue after at least 6 years of not seeing this person face to face. He wanted to know if I would help him persuade Democratic Party leaders that Antifa are worth backing up and not "criminal terrorists". He invited me for beers after work, I think he saw me fighting nazis on the news recently so he was a bit 'overenthusiastic'. He wanted me to speak for Antifa. I explained that first of all that would betray everything I stand for, second of all you can't outlaw an 'organization' that is as structured as water, there is no organization, and there are no leaders, and there is no way of identifying Antifa, not in a legal sense of the word anyway. My point is compañer@s, If we're at the point where we are having to justify our existence to liberals in order not to be considered a 'terrorist organization' then I say fuck it, it's bad enough having to deal with multitudes of murderous supremacists without having to have eyes in the back of our heads for that knife in the back. Liberalism Is the enabler of white supremacy. I see very dark days ahead for all of us, this is a multiple fronted war.

I'm not interested in converting or convincing anyone who doesn't want to back us. Liberals are the same as the far-right, they aren't anything that I would want on my side. I am interested in spreading the word to people who need to hear us, people who are low income or lower class or working class. I want to unite the lower class and the "middle class" who are actually just making by with loans and miserable paychecks. Those are the people who need us and should hear what we have to say. We are trying to unite the people, not the fuckwads who think that people fighting fascism are "the same as fascists" or people who think the only savior of this world is the free market. Its important to unite as a people and destroy the upper class. And that requires education and proper spread of information.

I have no confidence that the establishment will budge they will have to be forced. They outgun us. We outnumber them. It's gonna be bad. But we will never lose.
