Mininova is dead. The admin had to take down the public torrents after many lawsuits...

Same thing for The Pirate Bay...

The 2 biggest torrent websites of the web just diseappeared... Many smaller torrent trackers fear this is "the beginning of the end" since the "icons of the resistance to the music industry" just surrendered.

It will be harder and harder to find torrents now. I think soon we will have to find alternatives OR a new way to distribute and index the torrent files... But it looks like anywhere where there is torrents there will be lawsuits... And if the torrents die it's just the other p2p apps that will be the next target, maybe even file hosting websites

The future of torrents (and file sharing in general) is dark !

    Fuck copyrights !

TPB is being sued since like 3 years, and the verdict is that the site should close. First the owners wanted to sell the site and now they just closed the torrent tracker.

Torrents only work in DHT mode now (trackerless)

IsoHunt is also being sued since a while... it's only a matter of time before they have to shut down too
