    TDKM Biography

    Genre: Hardcore / Punk / Thrash
    Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, ZA

    Bio
    A group of friends who in mid 2006 decided to start a band. We all came from previous punk bands, and when the Cape Town scene suddenly died we were the only ones around who felt the need to carry it on in some way. It was a struggle at first, trying to find the right line up, some members came and went, and we went through a series of name changes too, from Dead Rabbits to Skum, and finally to TDKM.

    Influences
    Many bands, ranging from street punk to Crust, we all have our own tastes and try to incorporate it into our sound. Sometimes it works, other times its debateable. We play what we like, and like to hear, which in Cape Town means just about any variant of punk, since we dont have much to choose from here.

    Sounds Like
    We've been compared to alotta bands, some of the distro reviews are interesting to say the least, and there is a tradgic rumour going around that we're a grindcore band. Listen to our songs and decide for yourself.
