    Label - Skuld Releases
    German DIY punk/crust/thrash/grind label established in 1991. It was run by a1951245 until his accidental death in Spring of 2015. The label released material from a large number of independent bands. Since 2015 Skuld Releases' partner-label Ruin Nation Records continue Skuld Releases' back catalog with permission of selected bands and artist.

    In 1996 they teamed up with Profane Existence (USA) to release a number of co-releases, always using both label names as prefix (EXIST/SKULD, SKULD/EXIST, SKULD-EXIST, SKULD - EXIST or similar). This collaboration ended in 1999.

    I'll upload what I have with Protestera (LPs: 'Kampen Går Vidare', 'Rock n Riot', '01.05.1886', 'Pengarna Eller Livet', EPs: 'Zora', the @patia No-split and 'Gränslösa Land') later today or tomorrow at the latest! This one comes with a great booklet as well, unfortunately it's too big for my scanner but I'll see what I can do with my camera.

    I didn't even know about that one, nice! :D Also: I don't think I'll have time to upload everything today, it turns out I hadn't already recorded most of them like I thought, so there's a lot to do. Recording the vinyl, running the result through software to remove clicks and pops, adjusting the audio levels, cutting the files up into indiviudal tracks, adding proper tags and metadata etc. And it's easter (which means me and my girlfriend are playing video games and eating candy all day, I don't make the rules)!

    By the way, when checking up on "Benefit for sea shepherd" I found their bandcamp where they have a few releases for sale, and they want money for the digital files. I always try to stick to uploading stuff that's already free or at least not available for sale directly from the bands (support and all that) and there they are for sale. Hm... But then again, this stuff is anarchist and from what I remember not keen on copyright... You know what, I'll ask them!

    Edit: It's fine with them! I'll get to it when I can!

    No problem. While clicks and pops are annoying, some of that crackling sound you often get between songs is kinda soothing. It's like a bit of ASMR :D

    Yeah, I actually got that ep off a well-known blog (of course I have no idea where he gets his stuff from but I assume he's ethical about the stuff he uploads, or at least tries to be).
