Stomper 98, The Templars, The 4-skins, and the connections to their neo nazi buddies

I saw The Templars "final" show (it wasn't) years ago. They played two Skrewdriver songs. Not the explicitly racist songs, but it was still really weird seeing a band with a black drummer and another guy who looked possibly multiracial playing Skrewdriver songs.

 

I've known some black skinheads who were totally into Skrewdriver and R.A.C. Oi! bands in the past. What a crazy, mixed up world we live in.

Once again my computer is acting up and this is not the font I mean to respond with. Anyway I have a built in translator on my computer, so it was easy to read the article. I am very disappointed that Lars Fredrickson would be associated in any way with these boneheads, as I have been a long time fan of Rancid, and, after all these years I thought he would know better than to do Skrewdriver songs, even the ones that have no racist/political messages. Very sad, and disappointing indeed. First I find out the 4 Skins are a bunch of xenophobes, and now THIS.............

I've always thought that the bands who played that infamous gig in Southall in London in 1981 have never been called out for it properly.

I mean a lot of white skinheads going to a predominately Asian area for a so called gig?

They always hide behind this neither 'red nor racist'nonsense when the reality is that they ARE racist and ARE anti communist.
