Italy's prime minister Berlusconi has resigned.
Re: Resigination of Silvio Silvio Berlusconi I'd prefer it if he fell under a bus.
Next idiot is unavoidable.
and it will need at least half of the alps to bury silvio - according to some newspaper comments his return is already in the planning - and despite his questionable past with mafia and P2, the legal actions against his business practices including tax evasion, bribery and every other limepit he stepped in: he made it three times to the throne...
Silvio was a fascist and had ties to the far-right; NO; he is the FAR-RIGHT. One of his political allies is Alessandra Mussolini, the grandaughter of Benito Mussolini.
there are lots of "illustrious" figures around him, some of his old P2 comrades were convicted for their contribution/connection to gladio-groups like ordine nuovo and as far as i remember some prosecutor tried to research berlusconi too, because of money laundering, but the investigation was put down on order of christian democrat prime minister giulio andreotti - another good friend of silvio... but it was the first time some insider had to admit the existence of the network and it's connection with right-wing terrorists.
Silvio Berlusconi was a Millionare; a mafioso. He was a dick. He treated his people bad, and drove Italy into the ground, just like what happens with fascist countries.
2008 berlusconis Holding Fininvest in Rom and Mailand helds shares of three stock companies: Mediaset SpA in Mailand, busy in TV, movie and cinemabiz, annual turnover 4,25 billion Euro, Nettogewinn: clear profit 460 Millionen Euro, 6300 employees. Mondadori in Segrate bei Mailand belongs with 50,1 % Fininvest. the publishing company produces magazines, books and radio programs produziert Zeitschriften, annual turnover 1,82 billion Euro, clear profit 97 Millionen Euro, 3900 employees). 35,1 % on Mediolanum in Mailand. This business is led by it's original founder Ennio Doris (36 % share holding) and active in direct banking, premier income 2,73 billions, provisions 0.5 billions, clear profits 131 millons, 1900 employees. The worst of his little hobbies: Soccer club AC Milan, contributing large parts of TV-shows and owned by 100 % by Fininvest. Too bad the club is in kinda crisis and produces growing losses, annual turnover 209,3 million euros, clear loss 67 millions, 219 employees. His beginning as a businessman are very dark, up to this very day he refuses to give a clear statement about his investment sources for the building company he started with. he was persecuted several times for balance forgery and tax evasion, during his time as PM he pushed several changes in the tax laws and financial persecution through, so his little escapades will come cheeper in future... he treated not everybody bad: he promised the young woman who made the reason for his latest divorce to help her "becoming either a politician or a show star - whichever career she would opt to pursue..." she was 18 years old at the time, the old man was impressedimpressed by her "purity" and "angelic face"...
