Does anyone know any good reggae bands that sound a bit like sublime. I've been trying to find some SoCal sounding reggae bands with no luck.

I'd suggest you check out British bands. In the 90's quite a few anarchopunk bands chose the reggae/dub path to great effect, PAIN (Propaganda And Information Network) being probably the best and most radical one. I would also recommend strongly AOS3, Spithead, Ex-Cathedra and the AK47's. More recently, bands like Inner Terrestrials, Spanner and Autonomads kept doing that punky reggae/dub.

There was also a superb band in the early 80's called Alien Kulture, a reggae-punk band influenced by the Ruts/SLF/Clash with an all-Asian line-up and songs dealing with the issues that affected Asian youths. Really good stuff. And obviously, Culture Shock and Citizen Fish but I suppose you have already heard about them. If you are into proper dub music, try Lunar Music which was a Cress side-project.

Otherwise you have a couple of Polish bands blending punk and reggae like Klinika. Wlochaty also had a couple of songs in that vein.

Not actually a reggae punk band. Only this one song of theirs has got some reggae beats.

Some others that come to mind are Bad Brains and Jingo de Lunch (not really reggae but the vocal style reminds me of Steel Pulse)

Would not describe Sublime as reggae. But would definitely agree on PAIN and AOS3. And Culture Shock. Also, King Prawn definitely mixed it up and had a ska/reggae influence. Dominant View and Smoke Some Shit are their 'big hits' but here's a lesser known:

I've seen Babar around the anarchist bookfair. He's doing all sorts of crazy world music stuff these days, I believe. The singer from King Prawn went on to be the new vocalist of Asian Dub Foundation. When this album came out when I was about 15 (before the King Prawn guy joined) it was one of the first politicised albums I listened to:

A bit left-of-field but still a fairly cool band.

Radical dance faction? I don`t know.
I`ve never really been that into reggae, I guess thats dub. Or whatever.
Oh except this one artist, he seemed really cool right until I heard the most homophobic reggae song ever. Damn I can`t remember his name.

If you like Sublime you should check out the members' other bands Long Beach Shortbus and Long Beach Dub Allstars.
