hello everyone :) they call me Rabbit,i have been very paranoid so i won't be using my real name but most call me that anyway. I have been a long-time listener of Dystopia since about 2006, around the same time i started getting into AUS-Rotten and Crass, SubHumAns and all that, Cockney rejects too and lots of other stuff, though i am mostly into thrash and Hardcore i respect the political and social side of crust and anarcho even more, much more sometimes than my own musical favorites. As far as my political points of view, i have never identified with any faction of politics completely or even closely, even if overall i like it. i believe every single issue warrants individual consideration and cannot let my natural want to belong to something shape my ideologies and especially beliefs. i only believe in these things: Truth is Truth. Goodness, and Justice. Justice meaning itself not according to the justice system. Justice is justice, whether anyone recognizes it or not and Truth is truth whether there is a single person on the planet, in the UNIVERSE that knows it or not. We think we're so clever with our advances in Science and mathematics and technology and medicine we think truth is defined by what is known or even by perception. This is so foolish. Well enough of my ranting, depending on chance and my computer continuing to work you may or may not see more of it around. :) I came across this forum as i was trying to download AUS-Rotten's discography and it had this website in the description about thirty times ha. well if any of you have facebook here it is https://www.facebook.com/BerserkerRageRabbit you can add me there if you want, i figure also if someone wants to find me they could find another way and life isn't worth living if you're living in fear so oh well if i get traced for whatever reason, go ahead and find me i'm a super humble dude and extremely passionate in everything. catch you dudes and girlies on the flipside :)

Hello everyone! :) and i am from Bakersfield, California, well been living here since i was about 10 :p 23 now, i like to just play guitar and bass, if i had drums still i'd smash them too! I absolutely just love to hang with open-minded people that may or may not disagree with you but their mission is not to prove you wrong because only then can we figure out what the truth is together :) being wrong is just an opportunity to learn and grow :) hello ZingZong and IamMe :) with no disrespect whatsoever, IamMe, yes we are products of our society, but what is society, really :o it seems whether we like it or not, we are part of society. yes, even bookwormed anti-socialites count as "society" you can withdraw or reach out but in the end you don't depart yourself from society as a whole but rather change that society into one that includes one more withdrawn person. these people usually are the ones that will become who they want to become, but most of the time they will join or create smaller societies within their society. That is why i believe "Society" is just another word for "culture." To me "culture" is the dirtiest word because it's like a stigma that decides who you are from birth, and by extension culture decides that you have all the customs and personality traits (aka cultural traits) of that culture, (or society, as it were :p) anyway there i go ranting again :p What are your thoughts, doods? :)

Well I kind of think that's why there is a term 'subculture.' Like, uh, CA and NC (Me) are part of "Western Culture," or some ethnic culture, but we choose in a way through friends, beliefes and etc. and form out own subcultures. But more important, these are just words man, no reason to argue about them. But yeah, what kind of gear you have man? I play guitar and bass, kind of a gear nerd.

rabbits are cool! -pounces at- (subcultures like furry) :3 i've been paranoid too for quite a long time... maybe from when i was 10-30 :p i dunno still kinda am a little, but been trying to break down those walls for a while now... getting a little better i think. maybe meds would help but i'm not into that shit and cant afford insurance anyway.. i try to just stick to ganja :ecouteurs: but i like open-minded people too who are not out to prove you wrong. everyone can be a teacher. and that is how subcultures come about is it not? it just takes one person in a "culture" to dissent and take on the views of another culture....

hehe gear is cool too! i like reproduction-side stuff, speakers, amps, control boards, compressors, gates, etc!

    or create your own! :p

I like the modern reproduction of old vintage instruments, like the new Guild electric remakes, or Italias 60's Hagstrom copies. I've been trying to figure out recording but it's beyond me.

Instead of create your own, BE your own!!! I get you guys though :) and thank you, Scar, evil dark lions are too :) as for "gear" i'm not into it like that but i love music and love to have instruments around, without much worrying about the quality and authenticity of the product, i just plug it in and listen to the instrument and combinations of instrument and amp :) i have a pretty legit setup man i bought my amp from a friend i had for about $250,, pretty hefty price especially being used but not too bad for me, it was worth it :) It's a Behringer, and it says V-Tone GMX210 on it. Not sure what it all means but i believe it's a 120-watt amp, it has two (i think 12-inch) speakers and the motherfucker is CRUNCHY in the right setting :) all i know about my instruments is my bass is a Jackson brand and my guitar says Vinci signature on it. They both work well and the bass has that clicketyness that sounds real good in punk music :D i got lucky cuz i got each of em for free!! My best friend's mom gave me the bass cuz it had been left in a house she moved into and the guitar belonged to a friend of mine that never, ever played it :) it's a GREAT bass too, and i'm aware the guitar isn't high-grade but it works very well with my amp :)

AND P.s. scar, yes everyone is a teacher, but also a student :) That is something i find most beautiful :) Paranoia, well, obviously it comes from fear that's common knowledge, but there's something else that should be common knowledge, and is becoming more well-known in recent days. There are only two real emotions. Fear and Love. Every other emotion stems from these two in some way. Sometimes a particular emotion can come from one, but the exact same one can come from the other. Such as anger :o it has been my observation that anger is one of the most powerful things to make things right and progress and change things for the better when it comes from Love, but it can be the most destructive and counterproductive thing in the world when it comes from fear. Anger is probably the most powerful force in the world as far as what is inside humankind. As for Hatred, it comes only from fear >:( And hatred makes me angry. Always.

Anyway the point of that all was, it helps a lot to conquer paranoia, or fear, when you understand the nature of these very things,, When you realize that the way to conquer fear is through love,, and that love isn't the pansy-ass thing portrayed in most every medium. Love for all people is what makes us want to destroy governments and beat the shit out of a bully, so that that bully can become a person that instead also loves others and maybe beats some sense into another bully :p
