And I've already explained why I've found it difficult to navigate its website.
Nor have you explained why such a tiny business newspaper is a reliable source.

Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

lol ok so a picture with a feminist flag is not a proof, but a picture with some random politician is a proof, even if you don't even know the circumstances.

Yes i'd still support Pussy Riot even if they wore a Crass tshirt, but i couldn't sell Pussy Riot tshirts to help them because the only reason we are doing so many salesis because Pussy Riot wore our shirt.

Get your facts right. Pussy Riot never stated they would turn anyone to the cops. This whole story comes from a Voina member who's mad at Pussy Riot. The whole story behind "turning voina members to the cops" is because Pussy Riot member didn't turn off her phone during a meeting because they were paranoid about being wire tapped. Obviously they were not since nobody got arrested because of that.

I am still waiting to know why Pussy Riot is not feminist.

In fact it was said that association only happened after they were arrested. Again not true, thats at least three 'casual' meetings, at which someone happened to have a camera, dated before PR started buzzing the local churches.

Do you have any idea why providing sources may be important?

No, I'm saying I can not find the photos you are referring to, hence why I've consistently requested you provide sources.

Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

So if you are an anarchist political prisonner rotting in jail because your free speech was violated, you are not eligible for anarchist solidarity if :
    a) you went to a protest and someone took a picture of you with a politician from the opposition who will obviously supports cases like that
    b) you have a good job and make a reasonnable amount of money, even if you are a working class woman
    c) you record a political action to spread propaganda on the internet but forget to censor the faces
    d) they're probably funded my the CIA if their action happen before an election of a country hated by USA

And if other anarchists happen to support those political prisonners, there is no other reason than they have been bought off and you should declare your non-solidarity with them and move on.

So, anarchists are supposed to support freedom of speech only for anarchists corresponding to OUR definition of what anarchism is.

    ...right ?

Oleg was jailed for attacking police cars. He had a search warrant and he was arrested during an anti-corruption protest in St. Petersburg. Not Pussy Riot's fault.

"Activist of the art group War Peter Verzilov (left), leader of the United Civil Front movement Garry Kasparov (centre) and leader of the Khimki forest defence group Yevgenia Chirikova (right) during a news conference dedicated to the II Lasr Autumn Forum of civil society activists."

    - Peter Verzilov is not a Pussy Riot member
    - Garry Kasparov was NEVER a candidate for elections. Check wikipedia.
    - Yevgenia Chirikova is the leader of the Khimki forest defence group. Search for articles about the Khimki protests and you will find out that a shitload of anarchists participated.

This argument has nothing to do with Pussy Riot. This fucking stupid witch hunt must end now, it's getting really ridiculous.

Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

Ivanovich it's not altogether clear what you are actually accusing them of, the general message appears to me as: 'this just doesn't sit right with me'. It seems to me that you're essentially calling these protestors puppets or 'double-agent' types to a pro-Western - rather than an anti-Putin - group. I'd argue that they are simply anti-Putin and that this could lead them to getting support from Westerners and pro-Westerners. Ungov put that article up about other activity that they have been involved in - stuff that sounded decidedly anti-state. Now, I'm not saying that they are perfect, I'm not saying they haven't done stupid shit or betrayed other subversives (I'm not saying they have either) but that they are genuine in the protests they have been involved in.

In a sentence: I do not think they are the front of some pro-Western-hegemony organisation.

    Do you?

Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

what a big dramatic witch hunt for so little reason. Good luck finding an anarchist forum that doesn't support Pussy Riot. This whole thing is fucking ridiculous. You fail to provide reasons why we shouldn't support them and you don't even answer half of the questions we addressed you. You didn't even explain why they are not feminists even after being asked 3 or 4 times. Not only you support freedom of speech and liberation of political prisonners only for the ones who think exactly like you in the least details, but you're also going to leave a community just because you disagree on something... All this big drama only because you don't want to support people who are on the same side than you. I don't think you're in the position to give anarchism lessons to anyone.

Everyone disagrees with you so why exactly should we end the support for anarchist political prisonners just because ONE forum user disagree, and scam all our clients into keeping "free pussy riot" profits for ourselves ?

Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

Yes, thanks. Now to your claims:
So we can say that the husband of a Pussy Riot member was at the same meeting as Kasparov in September 2011. Kasparov was also arrested outside the Pussy Riot trial. Perhaps we can consider this second incident a 'meeting'. Thus, we don't have 'lots of meetings', but rather two (at best). Therefore, is their association more than 'just casual'? In the absence of further details and on the basis of one or two meetings between Verzilov and Kasparov, I'd currently say no. Public figures appear in the same places, I mean Slavoj Zizek appeared on public television here this time last year with the right-wing foreign editor of The Australian and that fucking hack who hosts the show. Perhaps they are all secretly in bed together?

Moreover, how do such photos prove that there is "some organisation(s) behind the scenes" directing PR and their actions?

Ok, final word. Ungov, I told you that Crass were full of shit years ago, and you wouldn't have any of it, you just came up with the same crap you coming up with now. I know bullshit when I see it, and this Pussy Riot craps stinks of it, worst I've seen in years. If you too blind to see it, that's up to you. What the fuck, it don't really matter to me, it aint my rep at that's on the line. As to other forums, well, whatever, I'll settle for one that aint selling their merch, thanks.

Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

I think you're the only one seeing crap in this whole story beside other conspiracy nuts, so i'm definatly not scared of what could happen to my reputation thanks ;) Actually i think it will just give us a better reputation when people will see how we help a lot of comrades with Pussy Riot tshirts. Gonna prove we're not selling merch for profit.
You talk shit but you don't have any real argument. You can't even answer the arguments i brought up, you just keep saying "they're not anarchists and they're not feminists" without backing up your accusations with real arguments even if i asked you 3 or 4 times to explain yourself. But apparently i've been "bought off" so move on...

When you told me crass were full of shit you didn't have any real arguments just like now. I didn't need you to realise it when i saw how Steve Ignorant sold out with his reformation tour, and i didn't need you neither to stand up against them when they used copyright laws against us.
Are you also going to boycott people who sell Crass merch ? haha...

You know, the only thing that could destroy our reputation in this whole story are your crazy theories about how Pussy Riot is controlled by the CIA... Worst arguments i've seen against Pussy Riot. Lost a lot of respect for you when you brought that crazy bullshit up, but i lost even more when you decided to leave because you can't accept different opinions. That's really childish.

Sorry to tell you but, supporting the thousands of comrades who we will contribute to help with the tshirts sales is far more important that your presence on this forum. And you're acting in a really egoist way by not giving a fuck about them when we have the opportunity to help them. Sorry i guess i was "bought off" by the solidarity cause.

    Bye.

Bloody fuckin hell...all of you knock it off, Ivanovich is entitled to be crept out by their associations if he wants to be and we're more than free to support their legal defense on the basis of this one action (I for one am not 100% convinced about it so we have kept Diatribe out of benefit shows etc.) But bottom line Ivanovich you shouldn't just leave, just let your disagreement be known and you will be fine and Ungov, it's pretty clear to me that the ex-Voina members do deserve our collective contempt for their idiotic stances and self serving publicity stunts not to mention being flat out rats for the State. There are so many much more important issues going on in the world and not just the student uprising in Canada, that it is a little frustrating to me as well to focus on the hipster cause of the week...they really don't need our support when they have Paul McCartney, Sting, Madonna, Bono, and the entire western liberal sector on their side...
I mean our true anarchist brothers and sisters are being murdered in Russia on a constant basis, I'm sure their families could use that money a lot more than this cause celebre.... :ecouteurs:

Re: Pussy Riot wears one of our t-shirts !

I was the first to stand against their idiotic actions but it's not related to Pussy Riot and they still deserve out support as political prisonners. The name is Pussy Riot but all "arguments" are related to Voina or some boyfriend of Pussy Riot member. This is a fucking ridiculous witch hunt.

We're not focusing on it but since it is a popular issue it's a good opportunity to raise money and help other causes, not just Pussy Riot. The vast majority of our buyers are from Quebec and France, i think it's just logical that we support causes from here. Just like it's also logical to send at least A PART of the sales to Pussy Riot when we sell tshirts in their name.
And those people DO need our support. But who the fuck would buy a tshirt written "free the student prisonners from quebec"... It's pretty obvious that we're just using Pussy Riot's case to help similar cases.

As for Ivanovich just let him go if he's childish enough to treaten to leave a forum just because he disagree with us we don't need him here, neither do we need his ridiculous conspiracy theories about CIA controlling Pussy Riot.
