Punk Scene?

It feels all over the place in my opinion. There is differently the scene that is still alive, you just have to wave through some of the bullshit out there. Outside the actual scene, the word punk gets thrown around pretty freely. The scene is and has been taking hits from capitalism for years, businesses are always trying to make a bit of money out of it but I still believe the scene is still alive. I am not sure about the size though, I am not sure if it has been increasing or decreasing over the years (I am not counting the fans that are just a fan of Greenday, Blink 182, Good Charlotte etc and call themselves punks). I haven't been in the scene long enough to judge if it has been gaining popularity or not. Yeah I am probably not making any sense now, so out of it atm..

im hating the street punk...to much kids with studs and spikes
but one can still find good scenes out there... theres some good bands trying to relive the 80 hardcore punk scene...anyone heard of ceremony?

 

street punks can be pretty discouraging some times.

 

maybe i was being to vague, what bothers me is the mass amount of kids with casualties bum flaps, and the im so punk fukin rock attitude, but yeah fuck expensive clothes brands

is there a punk scene? i thought it had long died with the rise of hot topic and commercial bands like blink and good charolotte.

 

There is no way it could die to that shit, as long as there is people that know the shit beyond that commercial stuff it will be alive.

 

A lot of the punk scene disgusts me. My band played with Voodoo Glow skulls last night, and some asshole chicks jumped my friends girlfriend. Tensions escalated and the night ended with 2 people in the hospital, one from both sides.
It was a good night up until then too, shit bummed me out pretty hard. Cops, ambulences, blood, stolen equipment. No bueno.

takse driver. We have a decent amount of "fans" in Santa Ana. The show was in Conoga Park, and it was a bunch of Santa Ana kids that came up there and started it, because I guess the chick that started it, and my lead singers girlfriend used to be best friends.
