    Political, yet humorous punk rock band from Winnipeg, Canada. Formed in 1989, they were one of the first bands to sign to [l=Fat Wreck Chords]. In 1997 singer / songwriter / bassist [a=John K. Samson] left the group to pursue other interests and eventually start another band, [a283746].     G7 Welcoming Committee Records was a collectively-owned-and-operated record label located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Between 1997 and 2010, they released 59 musical and political artifacts in various formats by 31 bands and individuals.
    The label was started by a788647 and a1071881 in 1997. Jord quit the label in 2002. It is was then run by Chris, a1280243 and Brent Corey.
