What (in your opinion) is the BEST political/protest song ever?

I need to find and research one for a school project and can't decide. There's so many!!!

(I was thinking 'In The Name Of Convenience'..?)

Bite It, You Scum by GG Allin. But being serious, you oughtta be a bit more specific.

Maybe "From protest to resistance" by conflict or "Theres no power"
"I aint thick" by crass covers ALOT of diffrent things so listen to that one
"Baby Punchers" by Leftover Crack is not really political but the speech towards the end by Jello Biafra is amazing

Well, It can't have cuss words in it because I have to play it for the class. So no "From Protest To Resistance" or "It Ain't Thick, It's Just A Trick". :(
But just in general, any song about Political Protest, or just Protest. The best ones you can think of.

But, I'll look at those other ones. Thank you! :)

If you want the subject on animal liberation, I like the idea of In the Name of Convenience. Maybe Shelly's voice in her solo part near the beginning could tug on some heartstrings of class mates who listen to it, assuming your class will see it. But there is blatant cussing in it. Also This is the A.L.F. by Conflict, but that's more focused on direct action than protest.
They Ignore Peaceful Protest by Aus Rotten would be a fun one, or The System Works for Them, if you want to interpret boycotting as protest.

Stand and Resist by Contravene would be a nice choice also.

Are you going to have readable captions? Because a lot of songs you may pick will have mostly illegible vocals for those who don't already know the songs.

Urgh, a tough one. Hmm...I would say Aus-Rotten - No Justice no Peace. This song is almost like a manifesto for the 90's anarchopunx...

you would have to bleep a few words out but ANTI-MANIFESTO by propagandhi does a great job explaining what punk rock is supposed to be.
