    Yo, I have a friend who'll be visiting Berlin in about a month but needs some advice/help finding places to crash. If anybody has suggestions or offers, that'd be great. Cheers.

    My advice would be (if you're just carrying a backpack) to search the web for any active squats, go there, introduce yourself,etc. and ask if you can crash there. If you don't like it you can always find another squat, but @ least you'd have a place to crash for the night.
