I can't imagine myself ever having kids. Part of it is because I don't want the responsibility of being a role model, and also I think the world will be an ugly place in the future.
I've got two kids, and they just kind of happened. It's tuff in the beginning, but get's easier as they grow older, and you grow more secure in your role as a parent. Sure the world is an ugly place, but who's gonna change it, if not the children? Not that raise my children to go out and save the world, they're not Jedi knights.
