does anyone know more about this group or have any albums? I got one track from them off the Bluurg Records Ep's '82-'88 album, and enjoyed it, so I looked for more of them elsewhere, but sadly cannot find anything. thanks a lot! FYI: this is not the group from Cleveland,OH with the same name.
Pagans (UK) - The Cuckoo Has Flown demo (1982) These Pagans were part of the Bluurg/Subhumans family of bands and were from Warminster England. They started in 1980 under the name Wild Youth and had 4 songs on the Wessex '81 compilation tape released by Bluurg. In 1982 they changed a couple members and the name of the band to The Pagans and released one song (their only vinyl release) on the Wessex '82 compilation ep. Previous to Wild Youth the guitarist had been in The Mental who released one ep in 1979 and the bass player was in the Stupid Humans. http://noiseaddiction.blogspot.com/2010/11/pagans-uk-cuckoo-has-flown-demo-1982.html THE PAGANS - THE CUCKOO HAS FLOWN - BLUURG TAPES - BLUURG 20 TRACKS: 1. WAR IS NOT A GAME The tape was on ebay-uk, but I was beaten at the bidding, maybe it was a re-release because the quality was "good" There is another interesting site: Anarcho Punk Archive - sumhow I can't get it open, loading too slow: http://www.anarchopunkarchive.50megs.com/r_bluurg.html Wave Goodbye To Your Dreams has a clip on youtube
Nah, only eight nights before "Yul" this wouldn't be a good idea ... So it's only "WAVE GOODBYE TO YOUR DREAMS" by Pagans on youtube!
thanks a lot Gobbledigooks! downloading now... sorry everyone, I have no disdain for pagans or any other religious group/sect.\ I've always thought that people like Aleister Crowley "trolled" everyone with the whole magick thing anyway.
