    What do you guys think of that band? They are like Alternative-Metal with Punk influences I guess. I think they're pretty cool. Oh yeah, they are Anarchists too!

    Why?

    I'll be honest I'm aware of Otep from my old nu-metal days, about 12 years ago and I don't need to make my ears go through that again. Their name is an anagram of poet. I have nothing else to say on the matter.

    Nu-Metal/Mallcore is terrible and Otep are no exception to that rule...if you like them more power to ya and all, but I can't stand 'em.

    And since when is Otep mallcore? Hollywood Undead is mallcore. Brokencyde is mallcore. Get your shit right.

    Oh, come on! Surely there isn't really a genre called 'Mallcore'? It's just an insult, isn't it? So it would figure that whether they are 'mallcore' or not is a personal opinion. Regardless, they are nu-metal, right? Or what on earth are they then? Anyway, their name maybe from their female vocalist but she got her name from making an anagram of poet I seem to recall from my Kerrang! reading days :S .
