    yeah, I agree with wonder... They are an fucking Assoles . . . and the music is reaLLY BAD... The are an suicidial kids -.-' thats just stupid...They parents dont give 'em attencion and they become Emo's.. I know some emos and they becomes emos because the things i have said...

    this is my thought emos hurt them selves to feel better while punks hurt themselves to make a statment there are two differnt things

    I am and anlways will be egocentrid. I need to wake up with myself tomorrow, or at the moment, later today. Therefore my life is about ME, no one else.
    Emos however tend to be negatively egocentric, their life is the middle of the universe. My life is the middle of MY reality instead.

    what i find very ironic of this is that i am the son of a local religious leader. yet i have turned against everything that religion has ever taught me. also the other day in seminary (time when mormons go to school) i bought this up. hey if god killed everyone in the flood then he would be disobeying his own law and then wouldn't he cease to be god? then replied with "no because they had so much sin that it was more merciful to kill them" i retorted with " yeah but god is still killing people" and it turned into a argument where i won and then they almost kicked me out

    i still don't see the difference between punks and emos. a lot of people i knew turned to punk for lack of attention or to get negatiove attention. i have also known plenty of suicidal punks, and i have known punks who hurt themselves to feel better. if you don't like the music, the scene or the people, thats fine, and u have every right to, but the excuses i'm seeing all seem in vain.

    The thing is, emos are now pretty much mainstream with Tokio Hotel, Good Charlotte and many others that can be considered emo. Which is similar to any other pop singer, but pop singers tend to have a younger audience that usually grow up out of it.

    There's a small emo scene over here, but not as much of a scene as those rich kid "papi mami" metalheads over here, they make me sick.
