Hey, whatup all. I've been looking for an online punk community to be involved in and you guys seem to be a lot more open-minded than most I've seen. I'm really into skinhead and Oi! shit, especially The Oppressed. Blitz, Angelic Upstarts, The Business, some others too, but The Oppressed is the bomb. I'm a huge music nerd, I listen to tons of shit. My music library is probably one half hip-hop and EDM, and the rest is rock, metal, punk, and folk. Nearly all the stuff I listen to is underground in some way. Anyway, I'm a musician. I'm half of a hip-hop duo; I produce, he raps (he's black, so it's credible(that was a joke(he really is black though.))) While I'd like to think our music is more eclectic than most of the stuff on the radio, I try to not copy anyone's style, I'm not gonna lie: We're in it for the fame and the money. We want to get signed to a major label. Interscope, Universal, Sony, whatever. If it's any consolation to you guys, we believe our music (+all music) should be free - we release our albums for free, we only charge for shows. And I don't know about Warden (rapper), but I plan to donate at least half of my income as an artist to charity. So at least there's that. I really like your guys' philosophy on things. I think I'll be hanging around here a while, hopefully finding a ton new music. Nice to be here.
Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, Cloud Kids. Because, you know, clouds of smoke. Hash. We have some demos and shit floating around, but I'd rather only spread our debut mixtape which comes out sometime next month. So I'll it be known when that happens, I guess.
