Looks rough. I heard the city officials wouldn't grant the activists the right to protest, it looks about as successful as when they tried that in Chicago in '68. Sounds like they're in full stormtrooper mode. Heres' some more info and links from Huffpost:http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/0..._n_298692.html
If I was up to it thats' where I would be. I wish the best of luck to all those who are down there.

yeah they didnt allow the anarchists to protest, so it turned up in a confrontation between protesters and police... But from what i have heard the protesters are really bad organized unlike the police who are very well equipped and they outnumber the protesters.... So it's turning up to be a "cat vs mice" race in the cities and nothing else... Nothing comparable to seattle riots or anything big so far... I don't even know if there is a strong Black Block presence...

Christ! I didn't realize it was that bad. If I was in better health I'd be there for sure. I wish the best to anyone who is. Heres' a clip from the Rachel Maddow show on the G20, some moderately interesting stuff, Iran, etc., but the most interesting is the first two minutes where they cover the "sound cannons" being used on the protestors and how physically harmful they are.

It was cool to see new ways of organizations online for the activists at G20, but like feared not only the activists are using these tools.... The police also use twitter to spy on protesters...
