Yeah, I've been doing my research since you first called me out. It always seemed more autonomous to me, and I think I liked it so much because my Grandmother always used it, and she was the nicest, most loving and caring person in the world. I kind of hung onto it in a sort of sentimental honorable respect.

 

C'mon dude, can we drop it now? Stealing a Hummer is different due to the detrimental effects on the environment, and you still have to buy a shit load of gas for that gas guzzler. It's not like I'm destroying the ecosystem, and making a record company profit every time a pop-punk song plays.

I know you're not going to leave me alone on this subject, you are compassionate about your beliefs, and that is respectable, but I really don't feel the need to continue on with this conversation. (I believe) we both understand where the other is coming from, and both of us aren't going to change our stances.

Oh C'mon, I'll admit defeat, once again, to you.

And no sarcasm or no joke here, but If I ever go to Canada, which may or may not happen sometime this summer, we should meet up and have a cup of tea or something, You seem like an interesting person to conversate with in real life. Discussion over texting is hard to understand the tone in which things are being presented. It may seem hostile here, but I'm sure we'd probably have a good discussion face to face.

 

i wouldn't say that, but your arguments may not hold as much water to me knowing that you willingly buy cigarettes (and yes, anyone who smokes these loses respect from me, not just you). To me that is the ultimate way of disrespecting your body and yourself, so if you have no respect for yourself, how can you expect me to believe you have respect for anything else? As far as defending capitalist music, i already posted my take on it, so no need to rehash.

 

I started 6 years ago, as a young impressionable kid to experiment, and I will admit, I thought it'd make me cool. 6 years later, after a 3 month hospital stay, with a 2% chance of surviving my illness (not due to smoking) now having scarred lungs do to a lung infection from my illness that ended up with me having a trache for 5 months, It is my biggest regret, and every cigarette I can't help but experience guilt, and a hint of anxiety knowing I'm only making my body worse. I've tried quitting about 4 times, all unsuccessfully, and I am going to attempt to quit again soon but I'm going to take the time to organize a routine before hand, consisting of bike riding and other exercise to help with the withdrawls while simultaniously helping restore some of my bodys health.
