    Rauchfrei - non smoking:
Der komplette Innenbereich bleibt wie immer rauchfrei. As always, there is no smoking inside.

The KIEL EXPLODE is a festival with an antifascist spirit. We - and we think you also - wanna have maximum fun. That means: be nice and gentle to others. Nazi scum, sexist, homophobes, NSBM-idiots and other assholes, better stay home! Punx: we love you and your dogs but the PA-noise is definitely too much for animals so make sure, that your four-legged friends stay safely at home.

merch - LP’s - vinyl: Let’s make it short and simple - CD’s suck. So spent your hard earned money for vinyl. It sounds and looks good for the rest of your life and even longer. There will be plenty of record tables at the festival, also from NARSHARDAA Records.

Those who come from other cities such as Hamburg, Flensburg, Lübeck, Rendsburg, Schleswig oder Neumünster may very well take the train to the KIEL EXPLODE festival. During the Kieler Week the railway company provides a lot of additional trains. Therefore it will be possible to get home even late at night in an hourly rhythm.

    BANDS…

    1. ANCST (Post Black Metal - Berlin): Berlins ANCST, with folks from AFTERLIFE KIDS and HENRY FONDA, play powerful black metal in combination with neo-crust. Their music sounds so goddamn fresh and in-your-face because of the absence of all these depressed and gloomy elements, which other black metal bands often have. Check out their first album - “In Turmoil” - it’s already their magnum opus. http://angstnoise.bandcamp.com/album/in-turmoil

    2. DAILY RITUAL (Punkrock - Singapur): Singapores DAILY RITUAL is a political punk rock band - great songs, great melodies, somewhere between RED DONS, AUTISTIC YOUTH and NEON PISS. Their actual 7”inch - “Depressed State” - is a little shining gem. http://dailyritual.bandcamp.com/

    3. CLOUD RAT (Grindcore - USA): CLOUD RAT is a three-piece grindcore ensemble from Michigan/USA. No doubt, this is one of the best bands in the genre worldwide. Even big metal magazines payed them a lot of attention and albums like "Moksha", their first full length, can be filed under the instant classics section. Old school grind with a top notch vocalist, plus influences from screamo-HC and if you wanna believe it - there are some dirty punk rock tunes under the blast beats. Awesome! http://cloudrat.bandcamp.com/

    4. RED APOLLO (dark HC/Metal - Dortmund): RED APOLLO (with overlappings to SUNDOWNING) played the KIEL EXPLODW festival before and we’re happy, that they will come back to Kiel. They have become better, but their style is the same: dark HC, (black) metal and doom. References could be ISIS, mixed with the actual stuff from DOWNFALL OF GAIA. RED APOLLO’s new album - “Altruist” - we’re sure about that, will be one of the top releases for 2015. http://redapollo.bandcamp.com/

    5. THRÄNENKIND (Post Rock/Metal - München-Hamburg): THRÄNENKIND started as black metal band. Things changed and the band made a huge step in their development, especially with albums like “The Elk” or their fantastic 7”inch “Hope(less)”. The current THRÄNENKIND play dark, gloomy and metallic post rock and the old black metal past, is always there. Overall, an absolutely unique band. http://thraenenkind.bandcamp.com/album/hope-less

    6. PHANTOM WINTER (Doom/Sludge - Würzburg): May 2014 - the worst shit of the decade happens: OMEGA MASSIF called it quits. Our faces melt, gloomy depressions follow. THE biggest post metal band ever with unbelieveable live qualities (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuKcCnsST6U), gone forever. But someone hears our screaming: ex-OMEGA MASSIF members form a new band called PHANTOM WINTER. The riffs sound sluggish, brutal and heavy as hell. Doom, sludge and black metal rolled into one, this time with vocals. Our desperation has found an end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfQkAUl0BTI

    7. THE TIDAL SLEEP (Screamo/Post-HC - Mannheim…Leipzig): TIDAL SLEEP - perhaps THE band when things come to emotional, modern sounding HC with roots in the 90s emo/screamo scene. If you like bands like TOUCHE ARMORE, you must love THE TIDAL SLEEP. Plus this band (with members from GLASSES & TRAINWRECK) has unearthly live qualities. http://thetidalsleep.bandcamp.com/

    8. THURM (Screamo/Post Black Metal - Paderborn): THURM is a brandnew band with folks who played music in bands like ANTEATER and AMBER. These two names may gave you a hint what is to be expect: screamo-HC, post rock and crushing black metal. Epic songs which are sometimes longer than 10 minutes. Their first full length will be out before the festival and what's even better...on vocals you will find Anna, the ex-singer from AMBER.
