    if i may interject, i come from a country that bans nazism and its token imagery (for other than historical purposes), and even deported David Duke (and sued his ass) when he tried to make his bullshit diatribe here;

    but i can tell you one thing, denouncing them "free speech" (whatever it's supposed to mean in the official newspeak) accomplishes fuck-all in the long run: they just camouflage themselves as national socialists with "conservative" values, put on a more public friendly image, and continue spewing the same shit they would anyway. the ban actually makes them more vigilant on how they are perceived by the general public. and the perception is actually getting better with the economic crisis underway.

    i would rather have them march with swastikas on their flags so that there would be no doubt on anyone's mind what a bunch of dickheads they really are...

    oh, and for the more stubborn of you who might think i'm too tolerant and not antifascist enough - as a 15 yr old, being chased by a bunch of mindless nazi pricks on a weekly basis started a long career of fighting them in the streets, and just earlier this year i got stabbed in the gut and am lucky to be alive with no permanent damage...

    To that guy who said there are no nazis in Canada, I've met at least one (my friend needed a light for a cigarette and this skinhead handed him a zippo with the SS logo on it and my friend said "there is no way I am using that"), also met people who have claimed "white power" isn't racist, it's just "pride". Also alot of neo-nazis in Canada just call themselves "conservative".
