Greetings. I am an American Anthropology and Archaeology student. I am a father, and a husband. I am Vegan nor Vegetarian, and I smoke and drink. I am of Ukrainian and Italian descent. I am what I would describe as a Democratic Socialist and a Christian. I am quite pleased to find this site and am looking forward to getting to know folks here.
As to not confuse or create an area of assumption, I mean I am a Christian who tries to follow the example of Christ; what this entails is a sense of social justice and the inclusion of all. I believe that the right to choose, the abolition of the notions of race, the acceptance and nurturing of all regardless of gender identification or sexual orientation are all serious issues that need to be stood up for. I am as far from the right-wing agenda of conservative Christiandom as the atheists here.
Hi, i think I may have similar views to yours, as I believe in god, but not exactly the christian ideal of. I am more into spirituality then religion. But I am strongly for separation of church and state.
I agree, there must be a separation of the two; and I also see the redeeming value of other religions as well, the path of Christ is just what works for me.
