I guess i would just like to know how modern punx feel as to hardcore music thats not made with your traditional guitar/drums/bass/vox combination? For example, vox+ laptops, drum machines, etc.
does the diy or political ethic of punk or the tradition mean more to you?

great example of what im referring to:
Has anyone listened to the band Realicide? They recently stopped writing music but for a while they were a force to be reckoned with, very political, hardcore mentality and realism all the way.

and i guess Atari Teenage Riot (quite a bit less contemporary but still relevant)

I find Atari Teenage Riot really understood the electronic medium and did it quite a lot of credit. Those two other bands you mention (especially the second) grate on me. I think it's because electronic music works best for me when it attempts to do something transcendant of traditional or "organic" music sounds. All I'm getting from those two bands is sounds I could just as easily hear from a live musician, and which sound too clipped and clean played by computers.

Seriously, music made by computers sounds best when it doesn't try to sound like humans. And vice versa, humans make shit robot noises.

I think most technology is bad. Especially when used in the arts. I know a lot of people disagree and love it because they can get their art and music out there, but to me I just am a bit of a "luddite"? Only 17 year old anti-tech person i know...(Ironically i say this from a computer. One of the few gadgets I use!).

But no, I don't get why someone would want to hear computer noises. to me electronics are rather soul-less.

Oh, I'm so sorry. You needn't apologise to me. You may want to tell Horse the Band to apologise to music, though.
