    Hi, I'm Lindsey.

I'm from southern California and I just turned 21 (going to see The Business tomorrow for my first 21+ show!).
I've listened to punk for a long time and am absolutely in love with it. My collection of anarcho is small; for some reason I've loved Crass and Oi Polloi for years, but never liked anything else. I started listening to Conflict a few years ago and discovered Flux of Pink Indians from this site and love them! If you have any recommendations that would kind of fit with the few bands I've listed, I would appreciate it.
Truthfully, I've always been ambivalent about most politics, despite being into punk for a long time. But my interest has piqued in the last year... and I'm still left with hundreds of questions. I'm mostly hear to learn. I'll browse more before I bombard anyone with questions :)

    Hey there,

If you like conflict, crass etc I'd recommend the band Antisect - their LP 'In Darkness there is no choice' is excellent.

    Hi Lindsey!

Well I'm also here to learn more about Anarchism so I hope we find all the information we're looking for, though people here seem very nice so don't be afraid to ask if you need to! I'm sure I won't hesitate.

    Welcome aboard!

    Greetings and what not.

Might i suggest you give D.I.R.T. a listen? Fantastic band; the female vocals are quite lovely in an odd sort of way.
I would Also Suggest Rudimentary Peni as they are a personal favourite of mine. Fast and strange; as if hearing raw angst and madness itself. (Which would make Sense as the lead singer Mr. Nick Blinko suffers from Schizo Affective Disorder)
As for anarchism itself. Find a Pdf or perhaps pick-up a copy of Expect Resistance from the fellows over at CrimethInc. Or damn near anything by one Emma Goldman.

I live in Oceanside, but I moved from Orange County (San Juan Capistrano) two years ago. Where in OC are you?

Thanks for all the band recommendations... I'll look into them.
PsychoHyena, not a fan of Rudimentary Peni, but I'll look into that book; I'm in the middle of Joe Keithley's book now, but will think about reading it after.
