    Gorilla Angreb Biography

    Punk band from Copenhagen, Denmark. The band was formed in 1999. The band dissolved in 2007. After a 9 year hiatus, they've been playing in between sporadically.

    Gorilla Angreb was a punk band from Copenhagen, Denmark, originated from the scene around the Ungdomshuset. The band was formed after the Danish punk band Amdi Petersens Armé was dissolved i 2002. Peter from Amdi Petersens Armé started the band with Mai, Banger and Retardo (who got his name after having played in Danish punk band Los Retardos). Mai and Peter had originally formed the band in the autumn of 1999 as a sort of pet project, but after 2002 the band began to be a real full time project.

    The band was sadly dissolved in 2007 when Mai decided to leave.
